Evaluation Time It is that time in the school year where teachers will be making every effort to evaluate students before the release of Term 1 Reports. Please continue to check Powerschool to ensure your child has submitted all assigned school work to date. When parents and teachers work together, ultimately, it is the students who win as we are able to maximize their academic potential.

Student Assembly On Thursday morning, we had a student assembly to celebrate our outstanding contributions to a number of different organizations. I am pleased to share with you we have made significant contributions to the following charities: Terry Fox Foundation (Laura Strong, Executive Director was on hand to accept the donation), Ron Ellsworth(Deputy Mayor/School Council Chair) thanked the students for supporting: Coats for Kids/Janeway Pajamorama Day/ Sunglasses for Haiti/Thanksgiving Day Food Drive. Beaconsfield JH sold the most Terry Fox t-shirts in Newfoundland and Labrador! I would like to thank our entire school community for teaching our students the value of becoming good “Global Citizens”. I fully anticipate there will be social dividends paid in the years to come as our students become community leaders.
