Benson High Boutique Contract EXHIBITOR INFORMATION -- KEEP FOR YOUR RECORDS The Benson High Boutique (hereafter called the”Event”) is a fund-raiser sponsored by the Benson Instrumental Boosters (hereafter called “BIBs”). BIBs are a parent organization that assists and supports the Benson High School Instrumental Music Department. The Event should not be considered an Omaha Public Schools-sponsored function, even though it is held at Benson High School. **Should OPS cancel school-related activities the day of the Event, please do not assume the Event will also be canceled. **

BIBs agrees to:  Provide advertising for the Event. Advertising may include newspaper ads, signs,   





electronic billboards, flyers, online ads, etc. as deemed appropriate by BIBs. Provide student and parent volunteers during the Event to assist vendors, as needed. Open doors at 7:00 am the day of the Event for vendor check-in and display setup. Provide student/parent volunteers to help unload and transport vendor items prior to Event start (7:00 - 9:00 am) and after Event end (3:00 pm). **PLEASE NOTE: Student/parent help will not be available to load/unload and transport vendor items during the event hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.** Operate a concession stand. The concession stand will serve breakfast, lunch and snack items. BIBs will provide free coffee to vendors throughout the day. Student/parent volunteers will make rounds with a concession cart to serve vendors food and beverages through out the day. Inform vendors in case of questionable weather. BIBs will: **Make every reasonable effort to hold the Event as scheduled. **Provide a hotline (402-557-3050), beginning 24 hours prior to the Event, to provide information regarding late starts or cancellations. **Make every reasonable effort to communicate changes in the Event status via local media. This will include both radio and television announcements.

The Vendor understands and agrees that:  The $45 Reservation Fee is completely non-refundable and non-transferable, even if the Event is cancelled, or the vendor has a personal conflict, that keeps them from being able to attend.  The Event may be held, even if weather conditions are not ideal. Cancellation will only occur if heat, electricity, and parking cannot be provided, and/or some other catastrophic and unforeseeable event has occurred.  All Vendor wares, displays, and activities will be compatible with the family atmosphere of the Event.  The Event begins at 9:00 am. All Vendors are responsible to be ready to sell their products at the start of the Event.

 The Event ends at 3:00 pm. Vendors are responsible to participate fully in the show and maintain their space until the close of the Event at 3:00 pm. Student/parent volunteer assistance will not be available for teardown prior to 3:15 pm. Vendors who begin tear down prior to the 3:00 pm Event close will jeopardize their placement at future Events.  The vendor alone assumes all liabilities for themselves, their employees, and their property.  All Vendor fees must be paid in full prior to being granted display access at the Event. All fees paid within 24 hours of the start of the Event must be paid in CASH or Money Order.  NO SMOKING will be allowed anywhere in the building.
