The Carers Centre for Brighton & Hove 18 Bedford Place, Brighton BN1 2PT Tel: 01273 746222 Fax: 01273 933688 [email protected] www.thecarerscentre.org Registered Charity No. 1015728 Registered Company No. 2758481 April 2013

Introduction If you are a bereaved carer then you may be interested in meeting other people in a similar situation. The Carers Centre has been fortunate to receive funding to arrange some activities for carers who have been bereaved in the last year. A range of activities are being considered for 2013-14 including bowling, floristry and craft workshops. Time limited support can also be offered to bereaved carers on a one to one basis if needed. If you would like to know more about this project then please contact Liz Gough or Sara Padhiar-Tutton on 01273 746222. We have produced this Fact Sheet to provide a handy guide to other local and national services that help the recently bereaved. We hope that you will find it useful and that it will help you find the kind of support you want. These services are the ones that we know about and we have checked the details of the organisations listed. If you spot an error then please let us know. Inclusion of an organisation does not imply a recommendation by the Carers Centre and any problems that may be encountered should be raised with the organisation concerned.
