Dennis E. McChargue, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Psychology, Co-Director of the Nebraska Internship Consortium in Professional Psychology, and Director of the Substance Use Specialty Clinic in the Psychological Consultation Center located in the Department of Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. A licensed clinical psychologist in Nebraska, Dr. McChargue’s expertise focuses on primary and secondary prevention of substance use disorders and the treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. He has published over 69 articles and edited two books. He also has more than 20 years in training substance use relapse prevention skills.
