Story of the week
Student Leaders 2017 At the end of last year students at Cedar Mount were given the opportunity to apply for a position on the student leadership team. They had to apply and explain why they would be good leaders, how they would represent the views of each year group and how they would make this happen. After a rigorous selection process including formal interviews the team were selected and unveiled in a special assembly on Tuesday morning. Mr Mellen presented each member with a ‘special’ blazer and tie so they are easily recognisable in the academy. All are excellent role models and we’ll be following their journey over the next year so keep an eye on our social media pages and website for updates on their progress.
