General Guidelines • Uniformed officers only • Training required prior to use • Personnel shall not edit, alter, erase, duplicate, copy, share, or otherwise distribute recordings without command staff approval.

Ending a Recording • At the request of a crime victim • At the request of someone having an expectation of privacy in a location • To facilitate exchange of information with a reluctant source

Ending a Recording Any time an officer stops a recording, s/he shall document the reason the recording was stopped on camera and in the corresponding report.
