REGISTRATION FORM

This registration form pertains to all 2013 born horses eligible for the Plus 10 bonus scheme. If you are a horse/s breeder, its pinhooker, or its new owner, this form is to be submitted with the correct registration fee, being either £150/€187.50 for Foal Registration, £200/€250 for Yearling Registration or £350/€437.50 for Owner Registration (a £50/€62.50 discount applies if the Owner fee is paid while the horse is still a yearling). A horse is only considered fully qualified and eligible to compete for Plus 10 bonuses after all three payments have been made on a horse by the specified deadlines, these being: • Foal Registration – 30 September 2014 • Yearling Registration – 15 December 2014 • Owner Registration – 31 March 2015 APPLICANTS ARE ASKED TO READ THE QUALIFYING CRITERIA CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING THEIR APPLICATION. NB. This form does not in itself render a horse eligible to compete for Plus 10 bonuses. The horse will be eligible only if it meets the criteria for eligibility set out below and all registration payments have been made by the published deadlines.

QUALIFYING CRITERIA

Being either the Breeder, Pinhooker or Owner of the progeny listed on this application form, I certify that these animal/s are eligible for registration for Plus 10 as they are either:

1. T he produce of a Great British (GB) or Irish domiciled mare (a mare based permanently at a British or Irish stud or thoroughbred breeding

Or

premises which is registered as such and for which foaling returns are made to the General Stud Book), where the mare has been based in Britain or Ireland (other than for periods of temporary travel abroad for covering lasting no longer than a continuous period of nine months) in the calendar year prior to the horse’s year of birth.

2. T he progeny of a GB or Irish domiciled stallion (a stallion that is recorded in the General Stud Book as standing in GB or Ireland for the covering season).

I agree to be bound by the Rules of Racing and Irish Directives in force from time to time. I understand that the making of a misleading claim may constitute an offence under these Rules or Directives, the penalty for which may be the declaration of the applicant as a disqualified person or such other penalty as may be directed by the British Horseracing Authority or Horseracing Ireland. I understand, in relation to the owner registration fee, I must be the owner of the horse in question at the time of registration and that any bonuses won will be paid out to the recorded owner at the time of the win, which may differ from the person who paid the registration fee. DATA PROTECTION By completing this form, I agree that any information that has been provided, may be held by the British Horseracing Authority, Horse Racing Ireland or Weatherbys Limited for the purposes of and in connection with the Plus 10 Scheme, and, where applicable, also by Weatherbys Bank Limited for the purpose of client identity verification. The ‘Yearling’ registration fee can be deducted from the sale proceeds of a horse at a bloodstock sale where the ‘Foal’ registration fee has been paid. A Sale Proceeds Agreement must be filled out (detailing the horse and sale at which it is intended to be sold), signed and returned with this form.
