Semple Sports Action Partnership (SSAP)
Branding Competition You will all have heard of SSAP – The joint project between the Sailors, Windsurfers, Fishermen and Rowers to build a new Clubhouse which we will all share. Let’s face facts – it’s not a very inspiring name and we would like to launch a competition to the members of all clubs involved to come up with a new project name, logo and tag line that we can use in our promotional and fundraising activities. This will enable us to have a brand that we can then promote and give identity to this group project. As you can see from this advert, at the moment there is nothing to show other than a name! 3 potential winners in each category will be shortlisted by the SSAP fundraising committee with final approval from the SSAP committee.
PRIZE: There is a prize of £20 for the winner in each category, so £60 is up for grabs plus the kudos of winning! Categories and specification: Project Name: This should be a short catchy name that could reflect aspiration in sport, the local area or grand things i.e. Project Semple, Project Nevis Logo: The logo should reflect the nature of all our clubs and if possible combine elements of them. Tag line: This should be a short sentence that reflects the four clubs involved in the project. It can be a simple sentence or just linked words i.e. Surf, Sail, Fish, Row. Picture it on the back of a T-shirt – would it look good? Or would you get fed up reading it! You can enter one two or all three categories More than one entry per category is allowed. Closing date for entries is the 28th of May
**Terms of competition: Any rights and registration to the name, logo and tag line will be attributed to SSAP and not the individual submitting. Winners will be asked to sign documentation to this effect. Submissions will only be accepted from Sailing, Windsurfing, Fishing and Rowing club members.
