KEY IMPACTS Eastern New Mexico Severe thunderstorms capable of large hail and damaging wind possible across the eastern plains this a ernoon to early evening, mainly east of a Tucumcari to Roswell line. Areas east of the Pecos River and south of I‐40 will likely experience the greatest poten al coverage, especially those coun es nearest the NM/TX line. Primary threats include large hail most commonly between quarter and gol all‐sized and damaging winds of 60 to 70 mph.  Isolated tornadoes are possible.  Storm mo ons generally toward the east‐northeast 25 to 30 mph.

CONFIDENCE LEVEL Eastern New Mexico HIGHEST Confidence

Growing confidence that at least isolated severe storms will impact areas of eastern New Mexico between 2pm and 7pm, with the most favored areas east of a Tucumcari to Roswell line.

LOWEST Confidence

Low confidence on the western extent of the greatest severe storm threat.
