INTELLIGENT HIGH -BEAM HEADLAMPS

Introducing Lexus Safety System+, an integrated suite of class-leading standard active safety equipment.

This system10 is engineered to detect obstacles in the path of your Lexus under certain conditions. Should it detect a pedestrian11 or determine a frontal collision is imminent, it’s designed to automatically prepare Brake Assist12 for increased brake force, and in some cases can even automatically brake the vehicle to a stop.

This system13 utilizes a camera to monitor visible lane markings. If an inadvertent or potential lane departure is detected, it’s designed to warn you and can take corrective measures. In certain conditions, the system can even help you remain in the center of the visibly marked lane, helping to prevent drifting before it occurs.

This system14 uses radar and camera technology to help you maintain a preset speed and following distance from the vehicle ahead. Whether at highway speeds or in stop-and-go traffic, the system can detect if you get closer than the preset distance and automatically slow your vehicle—even to a complete stop. If driving at highway speeds and the road ahead clears, your Lexus returns to its preset speed.

To help provide greater visibility for you as well as other drivers, intelligent high-beam headlamps15 offer added illumination to help keep you focused on the road. When the road ahead is clear, the system defaults to high-beam mode, then temporarily switches to low beams when it senses the headlamps or taillamps of vehicles ahead.

Offering a new level of clarity, this available advanced system16 uses four high-resolution cameras mounted on the front, sides and rear of the vehicle to give you a bird’s-eye view of the nearby environment. Moving View and See-Through View options create a composite image of your surroundings as on-screen guides assist with parking and tight maneuvering.

More than a convenient way to access multimedia, climate controls and Navigation,7 the next-generation Remote Touchpad 6 mimics smartphone operations with ample touch surface area, pulsation feedback, intuitive pinch, swipe and flick gestures—even integrating handwritten input. New functionality also allows drivers to quickly access sub-menus when on screens with multiple options.

The available Blind Spot Monitor17 is designed to detect and warn you of vehicles approaching or positioned in the adjacent lanes. For added peace of mind, its Rear Cross-Traffic Alert18 system can help when backing out of a parking space, notifying you of vehicles approaching from either side. If it senses a potential collision, the system can automatically brake your vehicle to a stop, under certain circumstances.

Advanced voice command enables you to operate climate, audio and navigation functions using normal, everyday speech. If you say “It’s too hot in here,” for example, the climate control will automatically lower the temperature by four degrees. With Enhanced Bluetooth®22 technology, compatible Bluetooth mobile-phone address-book contacts can be accessed on the Navigation System7 display or via voice command.

The new, available 10.3-inch high-resolution split-screen multimedia display provides immediate, simultaneous access to audio and climate controls and various systems, including new Lexus Enform Dynamic Navigation.7,19 On vehicles with the standard multimedia display, next-generation Scout® GPS Link19,20 introduces 3D functionality and interactive moving maps. With subscription-free traffic and weather updates,21 getting to your destination is easier than ever.

Using sensors in the front and rear bumpers, a new available next-generation Intuitive Parking Assist 23 system cues the driver with audible tones and an indicator on the multimedia display. Notifications indicate a detected object’s location and proximity, which is especially helpful for routine tasks like parallel parking. If contact with an obstacle is imminent, the system can also bring the vehicle to a complete stop, under certain circumstances.

The powerplant itself seamlessly moves between conventional and Atkinson cycles, for quick acceleration with greater efficiency. The NX 300 F SPORT takes the experience even further, with a more responsive sport-tuned suspension, paddle shifters and bolstered sport seats.

NX 300h The NX 300h retains the dynamic driving performance of its turbocharged counterpart, and adds the benefit of a class-leading estimated 31-MPG combined.2,29 You’ll also appreciate its exclusive damping control system. Utilizing wheel-speed and suspension sensors, Active Damping Control automatically counters the pitching forces caused by uneven roads. As a result, the NX Hybrid is kept more level, enhancing ride comfort and overall handling response.

AL L-W HE EL D R I V E Go beyond limitations with available all-wheel drive. AWD predicts your path, monitoring the vehicle and your input. On the NX 300 and NX 300 F SPORT, if wheelspin is detected, it can deliver up to 50% of available torque to the rear wheels.
