Have you ever been embarrassed by your parents?

I have a problem these days. When I was a kid, I was always happy to go on walks in the park with my dad. I even held hands with him! I could see lots of other kids around, but I didn’t care. Now it’s different. I notice things about my dad that I didn’t notice when I was younger. For example, he’s always wearing these funny black pants. He thinks they are comfortable, but I think they make him look like he’s from a different planet. They are very tight and fuzzy. When he walks, his pants make a “SWISH” sound. Other kids have fathers who wear jeans or a suit. That’s normal. Why does my dad have to wear these weird pants? My dad has a really loud voice. We were in a crowded mall with lots of good looking girls, and he yelled to me, “Did you drink your milk today?” I could have died!
