Located centre field, directly behind the finishing post is the Cairns Amateurs Corporate entertaining area, The Cairns Amateurs Aviary. Enjoy the atmosphere and excitement of one of Australia’s premier award winning spring horse racing Carnivals and celebrate this iconic North Queensland event with clients, friends or colleagues in style.

The Cairns Amateurs Aviary All-Inclusive Marquee Package includes the following:

Cured meats, smoked salmon, marinated vegetables and olives, spiced nuts, dolmades, fresh breads and grissini.

Cold Canapé

• An individual marquee located in the centre field directly behind the finishing post

Californian sushi roll – salmon and avocado

• 50 General Admission Gate Passes

Five spice duck and spring vegetable Vietnamese cold roll

• 50 Wristbands for invited guests to enter the Amateurs Aviary Area

Saku tuna – sesame, ponzu and wakami

• Substantial Canapés served throughout the day by Ochre Restaurant and Catering • P  rivate Bar with Premium Beverage Package from 11.00am – 6.00pm including Beer, Wine, Champagne, Spirits and Soft Drinks

Hot Canapé Tempura tiger prawns – wasabi mayo

Entrance to the Racecourse

Beverage Package

You will receive a Cairns Amateurs Aviary Pack including your Gate Passes (50) for your Guests. Gate Passes must be shown at the Front Gate to allow access into Cannon Park Racecourse.

Your Cairns Amateurs Aviary Package has a Premium Beverage Package from 11.00am – 6.00pm. This includes Beer, Wine, Champagne, Spirits and Soft Drinks.

Entrance to the Corporate Area

On-Course Security

With your package you will receive security wristbands (50) for you to distribute to your guests. Please note that the wristbands are colour-coded and dated. Wristbands must be worn to allow entry to the Aviary, this area is restricted to people wearing the Amateurs Aviary Wristbands and is strictly controlled by on-course security personnel. It is the personal responsibility of each company to control guest access into their individual marquee.

Whilst the Club provides on-course track security from Thursday – Sunday, we highly recommend that NO valuables be left on-site. The Club does not accept responsibility for any loss incurred during the carnival.

Additional Guests The Cairns Amateurs Aviary Packages are designed to cater for 50 people. Should you require additional Guests in your Marquee, extra tickets can be purchased for $160 each at the time of your final booking form.

Signage

Smoking In compliance with Queensland Law, smoking is not allowed in licensed areas of Cannon Park Racecouse. Designated areas for smoking will be provided outside the confines of the licensed area. Penalties apply regarding breach of the legislation.

A Deposit of $2,000 is required to secure your booking. No refunds will be made on booking deposits and final numbers for group bookings must be provided together with payment in full by 17 July. Payment in full at the time of booking, or an invoiced deposit is the only guaranteed confirmation. Individual payments for group bookings will not be accepted. Please note: no tickets and no confirmation will be offered or issued prior to payment. Tickets to an Event must not, without the prior written consent of the Cairns Amateurs, be offered for resale (by any means), resold or packaged or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions, giveaways or trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a ticket is sold or

used in breach of these conditions, the bearer of the ticket may be denied admission, and other action may be taken, without refund. The Cairns Amateurs will not be responsible to refund payment (whether whole or in part) or otherwise to compensate the marquee holder for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused by the cancellation of racing or carnival event due to any reason, including wet weather. Staffing Each package includes two (2) Beverage Service Staff Members to assist to the needs of your guests each day. (Service provided for seven (7) hours each day based on 50 guests).

A sign will be hung on your marquee with your Company name. Please complete the final booking form with the wording for your sign and return by 30 June.
