ELIGIBILITY & RULES OF ENTRY Open to all York Region artists, 18 years of age or older. Two-dimensional and wall hung 3D original works considered, including, but not limited to, watercolour, oils, acrylic, dry mediums. Photographs, prints, digital artwork, or free standing 3D art forms, such as sculptures, are not eligible. Works must be no larger than 48” wide by 72” high, including frame. Each artist may submit up to two recent original works. Works must NOT have been done under instruction or have been shown at a previous RHGA Juried Show. Non-refundable registration fee: $15 RHGA members, $25 non-members. Cash Visa, MasterCard, Debit, or Cheque made payable to the Richmond Hill Group of Artists. You must agree to pay a commission of 20% of all sales during or within the following 30 days of the show. All artwork submitted/exhibited must be for sale. All artwork will be juried. Juror’s decision is final. Paintings under glass must be framed with acid free mats, acid free tape and be finished with backing paper. ‘Non-Gallery Depth Canvas’ must be framed. For framed canvases, backing paper is not required. Unframed ‘Gallery Canvas’ must have edges painted and no staples on the sides. All work must be dry. Warped canvases will not be accepted. All artwork must have wire hangers (no screw eyes). Show committee has the authority to reject a piece because of improper or unprofessional framing. Artwork submitted must be labeled on the back using the Juried Show Title Strips attached to the wire hanger. Accepted artwork must remain at the Mill Pond Gallery for the duration of the show. Artwork not picked up at the designated times will be charged a storage fee. (See pickup dates below.) Entrants are encouraged to attend Opening Reception & Awards Ceremony, November 4, 2016 from 7pm - 9pm DROP OFF DATE OCTOBER 31, 2016, noon to 8pm, in person at The Mill Pond Gallery.

In submitting works to be displayed at the Mill Pond Gallery, I agree to do so at my own risk, and understand that I am responsible for any insurance coverage that I may require against loss or damage of the works I submit. I also hereby give my permission for the free use of my name, image and artwork in any broadcast, telecast, website, newsletter, newspaper, or other form of publicity.
