Calling all future engineers, computer scientists and inquiring minds! The media center is excited to announce two ELO opportunities for students K through 5th grade: Makerspace Mornings and Coding Academy! Each 6-week session will provide students an opportunity to explore the different areas of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics), problem solve and create with their peers in a hands on environment.

Makerspace Mornings - Wednesdays 8:05am - 8:35am Can you make an earthquake resistant structure? How creative can you get with duct tape? Join fellow problem solvers, engineers in training and inquisitive minds to investigate the different areas of S.T.E.A.M through projects, experiments and hands on fun. Open to all students K-5th grade. Limited space is available in each session. Sign up today!.

Coding Academy - Wednesdays & Thursdays 4:00pm - 4:30pm Do you love computers, coding and solving riddles? This is the place for you! Join fellow techies to code robots, crack codes and learn about the field of computer science! Primary grades (K, 1, 2) will meet on Wednesdays. Intermediate grades (3,4,5) will meet on Thursdays.
