MAP AND OVERVIEW

Cape Town The Winelands

The Overberg Cape Town

The Cape Region is an integral part of any trip to South Africa, and its attractions are so plentiful that it is worth spending significant amounts of time here to really get to know it. There is cosmopolitan Cape Town with all its history and amazing location, and the Cape Peninsula, one of the most beautiful, interested and underrated parts of the country. Only slightly further a field are the mountains, vineyards, stunning vintages and gorgeous restaurants of the Winelands and the steep cliffs of the Whale Coast that play host to southern rights and humpbacks in season. Rounding things off, head to De Hoop Nature Reserve: pretty landscapes, good wildlife and barely another soul around.

The Whale Coast

This is just a suggested itinerary; you can either book it as it stands, or use it as a starting point and tailor it to fit your exact requirements.

You can pay the deposit for your trip by card over the phone (*), bank transfer or cheque (unless we require cleared funds quickly in order to secure certain services). We’ll also send you a booking form to complete and return at this stage. We can then wrap up your invoices and confirmation documents and get them sent out to you. * There are no card processing fees charged when paying your deposit. Meet the team: Emma Parry – South Africa Specialist

Call us: 01242 253073

Emma first travelled to Africa on an overland safari in 2009, and fell in love with the continent – so much so, she cancelled her return flight and only returned to the UK four years later! From her base in Cape Town she spend those four years leading tours from Cape Town up to Uganda, exploring areas as diverse as the Namibian desert to the plains of the Serengeti. Although she’s been back in the UK for a few years now, she’s returned many times to Africa, visiting Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa: her most recent trip was a couple of weeks taking her new husband and their daughter to revisit some of her favourite haunts in South Africa. Highlights range from exhilarating game watching in the national parks, trekking through the oldest desert in the world, and shark diving, though she is equally at home sampling high tea in Cape Town or trying the local wines from the Winelands area!

Financial Protection…. Every South Africa holiday is fully bonded through the ATOL scheme and the Travel Vault. All our holidays are 100% financially protected through either our ATOL bonding (for all holidays where we are providing flights to / from the UK) or through the Travel Vault
