CDAC YEAP Inspire @ Barclays Dare to Be 2017

Eligibility Criteria:    

Possess genuine interest in the banking industry Full-time student in a local Polytechnic from any field of study Chinese Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (17 - 22 years old) Gross Monthly Household Income (MHI) ≤ $3,300 or Gross Per Capita Income (PCI) ≤ $900

CDAC reserves the right to request for any necessary documents for verification of the information given as and when required. Students who have participated in this programme in previous years will not be eligible.

General Information: The programme comprises two components: (a) Training & Work Shadowing (12 to 23 June 2017) Up to 25 students will be selected to attend training and networking sessions at Barclays on 6 weekday evenings from 6.30pm-9pm. Training would include introduction to banking, resume writing, interviewing skills & professional communication. Each student will be assigned a mentor from Barclays. Work shadowing of mentors will provide students with exposure to the work environment in the bank. Students with potential will be shortlisted for interview by Barclays to qualify for work experience.

(b) Work Experience (4 September to 13 October 2017) Up to 5 students will be selected to work in Barclays for 6 weeks and be assigned to real life projects. Each student will receive monthly allowance. Please note that this 6-week programme is not a fulfillment of work attachment required by your polytechnic.
