EXTERNSHIPS

Students have the option to participate in an externship through a local pharmacy. Externships allow students to gain exposure to potential employers, obtain real-world experience, and further develop skills they have learned in class.

NATIONALLY CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECHNICIANS

Upon completion of the class students will sit for their PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) exam. Once this exam is passed, students will be recognized as Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhTs) for the state.
