Chair, School of Tourism and Hospitality Fanshawe College is one of Ontario’s most successful, innovative and fastest-growing community colleges. With campuses located in London, Simcoe, St. Thomas and Woodstock, Fanshawe offers over 116 different post-secondary diploma and certificate programs, numerous applied and collaborative degrees and a variety of specialized certificate and contract training programs to over 17,000 full-time and 26,000 part-time students. The College is currently seeking a Chair, School of Tourism and Hospitality. Reporting to the Dean, Faculty of Business, the Chair will provide creative and effective academic leadership and management to the School faculty and staff, with a focus on delivering quality academic programs and excellence in teaching and service, and a commitment to the success of all students. The School currently offers programs in culinary arts, hospitality management, golf and club management, travel and tourism, food and nutrition management, retirement residence management, travel and tourism. Candidates for this position should possess a Masters degree in a related discipline, along with at least nine years of progressive administrative or supervisory experience in post-secondary education, business, hospitality, tourism, culinary or a related sector. The ability to cultivate and enable a collegial, collaborative team in an action-oriented environment is essential for this position.
