Advantage Charter Academy Chronicle “Home of the Eagles” Dear Parents/Guardians—Happy New Year! As we begin a new year, I find myself reflecting on our first half of this school year here at Advantage Charter Academy (ACA). I am feeling a profound sense of joy and deep appreciation to lead such an energetic, charismatic and diverse school community as your principal. From our Welcome Back to School Celebration to the many gatherings we have held thus far— you all have embraced our theme “We Will Make Progress...We Will Not Make Excuses!” Going forward, we are hopeful to celebrate the academic growth of our scholars as our goal is a SPS of 70 (C Letter Grade) or better. Remember, during this season to enjoy time with family and friends. Our staff is looking forward to working together with you to propel our school forward this year. In the spirit of joy & peace, we wish you and yours a very blessed New Year! Clifford T. Wallace, Ph.D., Your Proud Principal

Our scholars wrote holiday encouragement letters for all residents, sang Christmas Carols, and played several games of bingo to build relationships with the residents. In addition SGA donated gifts to children at a local hospital in Baton Rouge, LA.
