A Message From Your Proud Principal... Dear Advantage Parents/Guardians:

Welcome to the 2017-2018 School Year at Advantage Charter Academy—where are “Moving Onward and Upward...Watch Us Grow!” It gives me GREAT pleasure and pride to serve as your principal again this school year! We are pleased to inform you that we have received preliminary LEAP Test Results and Advantage Charter Academy is outperforming schools in the area in 14 out of 16 academic categories in Grades 3-8. Darnell Waites, Mayor of Baker visited us on Saturday, August 5th during our Welcome Back to School Bash to say job well done—Advantage! Kudos to our ENTIRE ACA Team!

Advantage Charter Academy 2017-2018 CEP Schools Breakfast & Lunch Lunch Program

MEAL PRICING! Pricing for 2017-2018 Adult Breakfast— $2.50...Adult Lunch—$4.00… Adult Milk—$.40 BREAKFAST: Advantage serves a nutritious cold breakfast daily from 7:45am-8:00am. Upon arrival students will go directly to the gymnasium and will receive breakfast (optional) and will eat breakfast until 8:05am in their classrooms. As we begin our new school year we would like to explain the Advantage Food Service Program by Preferred Meals. As a school participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Program, both breakfast and lunch are provided at no cost to our scholars. Adults, including school staff, parents and nonstudents children need to pay for meals and milk. (see pricing) Please make certain that your scholar is in school—on time—and with us for the FULL DAY—EVERDAY!

Advantage Charter Academy’s 2017-2018 School Uniforms Required As part of our effort to help each student prepare for high school, college, and beyond we have a uniform policy for all students. At Advantage Charter Academy, we believe that when students wear uniforms, they are able to better focus in the classroom, and also feel a sense of community among their peers. For our K-5 grade students, our uniform includes bright green short-sleeve or long-sleeve polo shirts with navy blue bottoms. For our middle school students in grades 6-8, our uniform consists of white short-sleeve or long-sleeve dress shirts, with our custom blue and green tie and navy bottoms. To ensure that your child receives the proper bright green polo and custom tie, please order directly from our uniform vendor Image Builders. Prices are as follows:  Short-sleeve polo shirt, bright green: $7.75 youth size / $8.75 adult size  Long-sleeve polo shirt, bright green: $10.50 youth size / $11.50 adult size  Custom boy’s and girl’s tie: $7.00 Navy blue bottoms and white dress shirts can be purchased at any clothing store, but if you wish to order all items from Image Builders they do carry these options. For your convenience, we will have sample polo shirts to try on at the school to ensure that you are ordering the correct size.

Physical Education Uniforms are available for purchase. Please stop by the office to purchase—$15 for set (T-shirt and shorts). All Students MUST be in uniform on the day they have Physical Education.
