NEWS RELEASE 21 December 2018 – 18H00 Flight disruptions due to the passage of Cilida – Bulletin 1 Air Mauritius has taken initial steps to manage flight disruptions and minimise inconveniences for its passengers with the approach of intense tropical cyclone Cilida. The following flights scheduled for Saturday 22 December will now depart earlier (all timings local): FLIGHTS FROM MAURITIUS  MK 851 that was due to depart for Johannesburg at 09H25 will now depart at 08H10. It is expected to land at 10H35.  MK845 that was due to depart for Durban at 09H00 will now depart at 08H00. It is expected to land at 10H20.  MK238 that was due to depart for Reunion, Roland Garros at 15H30 will now depart at 14H15. It is expected to land at 15H00. RETURN FLIGHTS TO MAURITIUS  MK852 that was due to depart from Johannesburg at 13H35 will now depart at 12H05. It is expected to land at 18H05.  MK846 that was due to depart from Durban at 12H20 will now depart at 11H20. It is expected to land 17H10.  MK239 that was due to depart from Reunion, Roland Garros at 17H30 will now depart at 16H15. It is expected in Mauritius at 17H00. Air Mauritius is closely monitoring the situation and will keep passengers informed of any further schedule changes through its Contact Centre and through regular communiques. Air Mauritius regrets all inconveniences caused and wishes to reiterate that the safety of its passengers and crew is its topmost priority.
