The Under 15 Leadership Development Camp presents a fantastic opportunity for the youth members of Life Saving Clubs to enhance their leadership skills and further develop interpersonal skills in a safe and supportive environment. Participants will be challenged in a number of ways by completing problem solving tasks, trust and teamwork exercises. They will gain an exclusive insight into Life Saving Victoria (LSV) and develop a state-wide network of friends.

Friday, 19 February to Sunday, 21 February 2016 Stringybark Lodge, Gembrook Camp Objectives  Develop Leadership and Life Skills  Develop Interpersonal Skills  Develop Friendships and Network with members from across the state  Solve Challenging, Problem solving tasks  Complete Trust and Teamwork exercises Application process Clubs are requested to follow the application process outlined below:  Clubs to assist with promotion and encourage members in the appropriate age group, to apply for the 2016 Under 15 Leadership Development Camp  Interested candidates to speak to their club about applying, clubs can provide interested candidates with the following link: https://lifesavingvictoria.wufoo.com/forms/u15-leadership-development-camp-2016/  All applications need to be submitted by 5:00 pm Friday, 8 January 2016 Selection process  Clubs should aim to provide 1 male and 1 female application for the camp. Clubs are asked to select appropriate participants that have been a stand out for the season and have good leadership, communication and team work skills  LSV will assess the quality of each online application. Clubs are guaranteed at least one (1) position each; however, if the required number has not been met, the remaining positions may be allocated to clubs with more than one (1) application.  LSV will contact the club’s Junior Coordinator to seek club endorsement of representatives.  Successful applicants will be notified on the outcome of their application via email by Friday, 22 January 2016.

Camp fees $350.00 per participant (including GST) LSV will invoice clubs for the cost of the camp. It is up to each club and participant to agree on how much each party will contribute.
