Nearly 600 runners, of all ages, participated in the 2016 Coppell Education Foundation’s Red and Black Run to Fund 5K/Fun Run on April 16. The Foundation will use the $11,000 raised to provide innovative teaching grants to benefit the Coppell ISD schools, teachers and students.

The Coppell Education Foundation held its annual Academic Recognition Banquet, honoring the top 5% of the graduating senior students from Coppell High School and New Tech High @ Coppell, in May. Each learner acknowledged a CISD teacher who made the greatest impact in their academic career. Campus Teachers of the Year were also honored and the District Teachers of the year were announced.
