PREFACE Many times, in my years of service as an Education Consultant, I have heard people lament the need for insightful information that not just feeds them tidbits but gives them a total step by step rundown of the process involved in the application for foreign education. Different clients have emphasized the need to know what Universities offer scholarships and free education programmes. Lack of this knowledge has led a large number of prospective Students of foreign Universities to opt for local Institutions since the knowledge of these types is easily accessible. In 1975, Eppie Lederer said; “if you think education is expensive – try ignorance”. She made this axiom at a time when some parents were weighed down by the tuition fees of their children and wondered if College tuition should be tax deductible (this means that their taxable income was being decreased by the tuition fees of their children). Fast forward four decades later, as an Educational Consultant who have received tons of requests/inquires regarding free education and scholarships abroad, I thought about this axiom by Lederer and realized that she was indeed right. At present, many students cannot have the quality and affordable education they desire and deserve, not because education is expensive per se, but because of ignorance – ignorant of the fact that they can have quality, tuition-free education abroad. But how can they know if no one tells them? In my quest to provide answers to these recurring questions, I set out to write this informationpacked guide that spells out different universities across the globe and what they offer. I have further taken my time to painstakingly highlight all of these in a manner that lets the reader easily decide which foreign institution best suits them. I wrote this book to provide International Students and/or their Sponsors with valuable information regarding countries and institutions that offer tuition-free studies abroad. It contains the “where” and “how” of free studies abroad. I had three aims in mind when penning down the words in this book: 1. Exposition: This book provides a detailed description of countries, institutions, and requirements for study. There are contact details including phone numbers, websites, and emails of the various institutions for further enquiries and information. From Asia to Europe; from America to Australia, all information required to fully arm you with the required knowledge are provided in lucid terms.

2. Education: Also, this book is a step by step guide that leads you to everything you need to know regarding tuition-free studies. In addition, it brings to light fascinating cultures and characteristics of different countries of the world. Did you know that Austria is the home to the iconic musical Sound of Music, and also home to the world renowned actor cum politician, Arnold Schwarzenegger? The book is filled with interesting information such as this, which makes it an exciting read. 3. Enlightenment: A tuition-free education is not a fairy tale, it is not a hoax. This book broadens the mind concerning this aspect of education where most students and guardians/sponsors are oblivious of. Also, it enlightens you on the diverse tourist attractions in these countries that facilitate social and cultural integration when studying abroad. This book is the result of years of intensive research, and it promises to be an insightful and worthwhile read. The information contained herein will help the reader’s transition from citizen to expatriate become an exciting experience.

INTRODUCTION Tuition free colleges and universities globally are still so little known about. Does it seem like something that could only happen in the movies? Hey! that’s what this book is all about, to let as many people as possible know about these opportunities. This book essentially serves as a roadmap to acquiring that dream overseas education entirely for free. In this book I’ve pointed out to you Educational Institutions and countries that most people are unaware of, or even if they are aware of them, it could take eternity to scan through the thousands of pages on the internet to find them. This book is a step by step guide on how to gain admission to free tuition Universities in Continents such as; North America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa. Most of these countries include; United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Australia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Japan, United Arab Emirates, and South Africa. Most of these countries offer tuition free education and scholarship opportunities for students , especially those from developing countries and under priviledged background who wants to have an international exposure and also, for those who are desirous of having a foreign qualification entirely for FREE! There are other Online University Courses for those who wish to gain a fully recognised International Education Certificate from the comfort of their homes, without having to travel. For the EU/EEA Nationals, they are entitled to free tuition fee from most countries in Europe. For instance, countries such as the UK that tuition fee applies to all, both the Home Student, EU/EEA Nationals and International Students alike. Home Students and EU/EEA Natioanls are entitled for a student loan that can cover all tutition fee for the duration of their course. The Student loan is refundable after graduation and only when the student gets a Job and receives annual income of £17,495 and above. This book can come handy for the UK Nationals that wouldn’t want to be tied down by so many debts after graduation, and might decide to study in one of these tuition free Institutions in Europe, at the same time get the opportunity to explore different scenery, cultures and traditions that these destination offers, whereby giving them an international exposure and life experiences that could boost one’s CV. Now that the UK has voted to leave the EU, it is quite uncertain what rules might apply in the future. Although there are various other Countries and educational Institutions that offer free education and full scholarships that are not mentioned in this book, but I have provided guidelines and important web-links that can expose you to more opportunities, giving you variety of options and choices to make in order for you not to miss the opportunity of grasping one of this life changing programs on offer.

Also, please be aware that many institutions listed below offer grants, financial aid, and awards other than those listed. We have only listed those meeting our definition of “Tuition Free/Scholarships”. Meanwhile, most of the Institutions under the EEA/EU member states offer tuition free education to citizens of said union
