Each studio is numbered and corresponds to a small sample of their work along with detailed directions to each studio. I want to paint them all: a Steller’s Jay as it swoops by in a flash of midnight blue or a chestnut brown Marsh Wren belting out its aria atop a cattail. And then I want to paint soft light reflecting off Puget Sound beaches on cool mornings, the fractured color of choppy water and mauve shadows just after sunset.
