About ISF Indochina Starfish Foundation (ISF) is an international charity operating in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. ISF believes that every child, regardless of where they were born, has the right to education, healthcare and sport. We seek to make a fundamental and long-lasting positive change in the lives of some of the most disadvantaged children and their families in Cambodia through an education and healthcare programme as well as grassroots football activities. Job Purpose ISF is seeking to strengthen its development team in order to ensure the sustainability of its programmes and is looking for a highly motivated individual who can fulfill the position of Communications Officer and work in close cooperation with the Development Team. The Communications Officer will help create powerful and engaging on and offline content to increase engagement of new and existing supporters and promote the organisation locally and internationally through a diverse range of strategies and media. Responsibilities  Assisting in planning, developing and implementing communication strategies  Creating and managing online campaigns  Creation of marketing materials, online content and media  Maintaining the organisation’s website, and social media platforms and content  Writing external communications, blogs and newsletters  Developing ISF’s presence on- and offline through a range of media and events  Assisting with monitoring and evaluation  Producing reports, presentations, video and photo content  Marketing and promotion of ISF Sports Ground to potential external users  Assisting in data verification, on all reports and information products prepared by the organisation  Proof-reading and editing communications and reports in English  Ensuring strong and consistent branding across the organisation  Supporting the team with other fundraising and development activities as required  Promoting the vision, mission and strategic goals of the organisation Essential skills and experience  Native or fluent English speaker, able to create high quality communications for a wide range of audiences  Minimum one year experience in a communications or related role

          

Experience in creating and managing Word Press content Demonstrable experience in social media management and/or marketing Ability to create written and visual online content for website and social media Experience in filming and editing video and photo content Experience in creating and/or managing fundraising campaigns Excellent organisation and time management skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include written reports Work collaboratively and be a team player Flexibility and able to manage several projects simultaneously Comfortable meeting new people and be able to positively impress and motivate ISF’s current and potential partners Adaptable and able to work effectively cross-culturally

Desirable skills and experience  Experience of working in Cambodia or a similar context  Experience managing relationships with stakeholders/clients  Experience of working within and promoting brand guidelines  Experience supporting monitoring and evaluation processes

Working hours and benefits  Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day plus ad hoc events as required.  Benefits: 18 days annual leave a year plus public holidays and international health insurance.
