website and rebranding to expand our support services to help those with any leukodystrophy, ALD being the most common.
COMMUNICATIONS VOLUNTEER ALD Life are a small, independent rare disease charity competing for essential resources within an extremely competitive arena. Ensuring we can communicate our mission and activities comprehensively to beneficiaries and supporters is essential to our continued success. Like many other small charities, we have grown organically from an informal support group to the recognised voice for adrenoleukodystrophy patients and their families. We are currently developing a new website and rebranding to expand our support services to help those with any leukodystrophy, ALD being the most common. With scant resources we are unable to employ dedicated communications staff and are looking to the voluntary sector for assistance. Although existing staff manage communications as best they can, we have identified this area as a key weakness. Could you spare a few hours a week to help us develop and implement a communications strategy to showcase our charitable activities, increase engagement and our online audience, and thereby attract new opportunities and partnerships?
