POSITION SUMMARY We are looking for an all star Community Manager to join our Impact Hub Salt Lake team in continuing growth of our social enterprise community and creating an atmosphere for a high-level of collaboration among our members. Our ideal candidate is comfortable in leading and working with a small team, has great communication skills and experience in operations, and has acquired basic skills in Adobe, Wordpress, Mailchimp, and Social Media.

JOB DESCRIPTION This role of Community Manager will work closely with our CEO. In addition you will lead a team of 10 volunteer community hosts and work

closely with our Board of Directors, Events Manager, Programming Director and members. The key projects to be taken up by this role will include: • Membership Growth/Marketing: o Create and improve membership growth processes o Produce content (photography, copy & design) and manage community emails and

social media o Present to groups occasionally about social innovation and Impact

Hub community • Member Support: o Create and manage processes and lead 10 volunteer community

hosts o Conduct host training o Conduct member orientations o Find ways to increase access to resources for members • Space Operations o Present at front desk to support members and give tours o Manage janitorial service to assure space is clean and comfortable o Order and stock inventory for facility o Find ways to organize the space and information to increase

collaboration o Ability to troubleshoot internet and printer issues o Manage member access to space o Manage member billing and track membership performance

operations, performance management, entrepreneurship & startup environment, marketing • You are organized and enthusiastic about improving systems and

processes. • You are a good communicator with excellent written and verbal skills and

able to work across cultural differences. • You are passionate about and immersed into relevant topics,

developments and conversations in the field of social impact and innovation. • You have a natural interest in working with entrepreneurs, key partners

and stakeholders. • You are comfortable interacting with several stakeholders and able to

work collaboratively within multidisciplinary and distributed teams. • You are open-minded, self-reliant, and excited about being part of a

diverse, fast-paced, startup environment. • You are able to demonstrate key components of the Impact Hub

approach: entrepreneurship, collaboration, innovation and exceptional

execution ability.
