NCS T-Shirt competition: Terms and Conditions The promoter of the NCS T-Shirt competition (“Competition”) is NCS Trust C.I.C., company number 08235117 with its registered address at 4th Floor, Pembroke Building, Kensignton Village, Avonmore Rd, Kensington, London W14 8DG (“we”, “our”, “us”, “NCS”). Who can enter 1. The Competition is open from 08:00 on the 21st October 2017 to all residents of England, Wales and Northern Ireland who are between the ages of 16 to 24 and have completed the National Citizen Service programme (NCS) on the date that they enter the Competition (“entrant”, “you”, “your”). 2. By entering the Competition you confirm that you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions and that our decision is final and binding in all matters relating to the Competition. How to enter 3. You will require access to the internet to enter and an Instagram account 4. To enter the Competition, entrants must post a picture of their T-Shirt design on Instagram or Twitter for public/general access using the hashtag #NCSTShirt. Designs can be drawn on T-Shirts or paper. 5. You will need to enter your design before 23:59 on the 30th October 2017 (the “Closing Date”) for it to be eligible for entry and to be considered in the Competition. The prize 6. The winning design will be used to inform the design of the NCS 2018 official T-Shirt. Accreditation will be given online to the winning T-Shirt designer. 7. Five winners (“Winner(s)”) will be selected by NCS, London College of Fashion, an NCS Graduate and Jim Chapman. 8. The first and second place Winners will be invited to attend a design workshop in London on 21st November 2017 with London College of Fashion (Part of University of Arts London), NCS and Jim Chapman. 9. These first and second place Winners will be notified by NCS via Instagram or Twitter by 13th November 2017 10. These first and second place Winners will need to acknowledge this notification within 24 hours of our sending it. If no response is received within this 24 hour period or if a first or second place Winner is unable to provide NCS with his/her and the required parental consent/agreement referred to below, that Winners opportunity to attend the workshop will be forfeited and the position will be reallocated to the third place Winner who will be subject to the same notification and documentation requirement and possible forfeiture, and so on to the third and subsequent placed Winners until two Winners meet these notification and documentation requirements (“(Finalists”). 11. To be a Finalist a Winner must be able to attend the design workshop. A signed Finalist and his/her parental consent/agreement will be required for 16 and 17 year olds. Any reasonable travel expenses associated with this attendance will be reimbursed by NCS. 12. The winning design, chosen from the two Finalists’ designs, will be chosen through a public Instagram vote running from 23rd November to 26th November 2017 inclusive. ● The Winner of the Instagram vote will also win a short course on T-Shirt design run by London College of Fashion: http://www.arts.ac.uk/fashion/courses/short-courses/under18/.

13. All these prizes must be accepted as offered and are non-transferable. Rules for entry 14. Your design must include reference to NCS and/or it’s logo. 15. You assign to NCS all right, title and other interest in and to and waive all moral rights in the designs and other related material you post on Instagram or any other social media platform in relation to or for use in this Competition. 16. All your designs submitted in the Competition must be original artwork and you must respect copyright and trademark rules by not, for example, copying someone else’s or an existing design. 17. You must comply with all of the rules regarding the use of Instagram and twitter, including but not limited to any rules relating to the entry of competitions. 18. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or Twitter. By entering this Competition, you release Instagram from any action or claim arising out of the Competition. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this Competition must be directed to NCS, not Instagram. 19. The Winners agree to take part in publicity in connection with this Competition. If an entrant does not want their name to be published they should inform us when submitting their design. 20. All Winners and, where applicable, their parents/guardians must consent to being filmed during the design workshop. The footage will remain the property of NCS and may be used in promotional activities. The Winners and parent/guardians will not be entitled to any payment or other compensation in respect of being filmed during the event and the resulting footage being used publicly. 21. We may from time to time alter, amend or withdraw this Competition without prior notice if necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. 22. NCS complies fully with the Data Protection Act 1998 (“Act”). You consent to our and University of the Arts London (London College of Fashion) using your Personal Data (as defined in the Act) for the purposes of the Competition and to our disclosing your Personal Data to ASOS and our other marketing partners. This Competition and all terms and conditions that apply to it are subject to English law. The Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes in relation to this Competition and all terms and conditions that apply to it. 24. NCS reserves the right at any time, and from time to time, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition, or any feature thereof with or without prior notice due to reasons outside of its control. 25. The Winners and their parents/guardians will be required to sign and submit consent/agreement forms that will detail a number of the terms, conditions and consents set out above. This Competition, including these Terms and Conditions, are governed by the laws of England and Wales and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any dispute arising under or in connection with the Competition and/or these term and conditions.
