JOYOUS CELEBRATION TOUR DURBAN FESTIVAL SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITION RULES 1. The competition is open to all South African citizens except directors, members, partners,
employees, agents, service providers and consultants of the SABC, as well as any SABC employee 2. The Competition will run from Tuesday 22nd June 2015 Till 30th July 2015. 3.

4. ELIGIBILITY: This competition is open only to legal South African residents over the age of 18. Employees of the SABC (along with its contractors, affiliates and subsidiaries) and their families are not eligible to enter the competition. 5. PRIZES: Winners will receive the following prizes: a. General Access Tickets valued at R250 Each: Winners of the general access tickets have to reside in Durban b. VIP Tickets valued at R300: Winners of the VIP tickets have to reside in Durban c. Generic Hamper Winners valued at R950: Hampers for these winners can reside anywhere in South Africa. Hampers will be couriered to all winners by SABC1. d.
Premium Hampers valued at R2000: Hampers for these winners can reside anywhere in South Africa. Hampers will be couriered to all the winners by SABC1.
e. 1 X Grand Prize Winners valued at R10 650: 1 lucky SABC1 winner will stand a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to Durban for one night only. The prize includes flights, accommodation and tickets to the concert. 6. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winners will be notified after the determination date of the competition. Inability to contact a winner may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. 7. GENERAL CONDITIONS: a. Participants hereby grant SABC 1 a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to broadcast, publish, store, reproduce, distribute, syndicate, and otherwise use and exhibit the Submission (along with their names, voices, performance and/or likenesses) in all media now known or that later come into being for purposes of trade or advertising without further compensation. Participants represent and warrant that they have full legal right, power and authority to grant SABC 1 the foregoing license and if applicable, have secured all necessary rights from any participants in, and contributors to, their Submission in order to grant such a license. b. SABC 1 is under no obligation to use any Submission or return the Submissions to participants.
c. Winners will be required to execute and return a Certificate of Eligibility, Consent and General Release form within 14 days of notification. Non-compliance within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Any income tax liability is the sole responsibility of the winner. 8. USE OF CONTEST INFORMATION: All entries become the property of SABC 1. SABC 1 reserves the right to use any and all information related to the contest, including submissions provided by the contestants, for editorial, marketing and any other purpose, unless prohibited by law. 9.
