COMPOST GIVEAWAY for Laguna Beach Residents
The City of Laguna Beach, Waste Management of Orange County, and the City’s green waste processor, Tierra Verde Industries, are teaming up to give away free compost to Laguna Beach residents.
SAT. - MAY 13, 2017 8:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. (or until compost runs out)
City Maintenance Facilities 1900 LAGUNA CANYON RD THIS IS A SELF-SERVICE EVENT. RESIDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: Only 5-gallon buckets or containers. Up to five (5) buckets or containers per household are permitted. Waste Management trash/recycling carts or other type of containers that are more than 5-gallons may not be used.
Please bring gloves, shovels, and containers. Residents are responsible for shoveling and bagging their own compost. A limited number of bagged compost will be available. Four (4) bag limit per household. GET THERE EARLY! Supplies are limited and will be available on a first come, first serve basis for Laguna Beach residents only. Paint, E-Waste & Universal Waste Drop-off and Paper Shredding Event Laguna Beach residents and business operators are invited to participate in the city’s annual free drop-off event to dispose of unwanted paint, batteries, CFL bulbs, and E-Waste in a safe and responsible manner.
