Position PGA BP Health and Agricultural Policies Location Bogotá - Colombia Key Tasks & Responsibilities • Ensures immediate actions on Health and Agricultural Policies that relate to their legislative or political dimensions, including monitoring and early warning • Leads, develops and implements local policy, public affairs and stakeholder strategies that are aligned with the business strategy • Conducts stakeholder analysis and outreach with business related, government, non-government, NGO advocacy groups, trade associations and KOLs, as needed, -in accordance with Bayer policies • Consistent monitoring and analysis of legislative, regulatory and public policy initiatives relevant to the business and product strategies in the country • Develop local public affairs tools and best practices to enable continuous improvement of functional capabilities and enhance public affairs strategies and implementation Qualifications & Competencies • Core competencies in: strategic mindset, innovation and “results oriented”. Strong commitment with ethical business practices. • Experience and in-depth knowledge of the Colombian government system. Existing network with representatives of the health / agricultural / economic/trade ministries. • Ability to quickly establish credibility across all levels of the business and with external stakeholders. • Fluent English and Spanish. (Bilingual in English) • University degree is required. Master degree in political sciences or related fields is an additional asset. • 7 years of experience in the governmental/political affairs and policy field.
