Walking Humbly with Fort Mac The Calgary Catholic School District’s thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has been affected in Fort McMurray and surrounding areas. As a district, we have welcomed over 240 evacuated students into 62 of our schools. We have also initiated a fundraiser called “Walking Humbly with Fort Mac” where our schools and workplaces are encouraged to raise at least $1,000 for the Red Cross. The district hopes to raise at least $105,000 altogether to help with the Fort McMurray recovery efforts. Calgary Catholic thanks their school and workplace communities for their efforts! Please visit facebook.com/CalgaryCatholicSchoolDistrict to see stories and photos of fundraising efforts.
