Storm and/or Sanitary Sewer Upgrades on Roskell Crescent, Hucknall Road, Sentinel Road, Ikley Road, Broadoaks Drive,Fallingdale Crescent, Grandravine Drive, and Northwood Park Watermain Replacement on Grandravine Drive As part of the Basement Flooding Protection Program, the City of Toronto has been modifying and upgrading the storm and sanitary sewer system ystem in the following location to relieve surface and basement flooding in the area (see map included in this notice):: • Fallingdale Crescent from Ikley Road to Hucknall Road • Ikley Road between both entrances off of Fallingdale Avenue • Broadoaks Drive from Roskell Crescent (west entrance) to Hucknall Road • Roskell Crescent • Hucknall Road from Madron Crescent to Sentinel Road • Sentinel Road from Hucknall Road to Grandravine Drive • Grandravine from Sentinel to Northwood Park (entrance west of Sentinel) • Northwood Park This project also has been replacing the watermain on Grandravine avine Drive from Driftwood Avenue to Keele Street as part of the Watermain Replacement Program. Storm sewer upgrades have been completed on Roskell, Ikley,, Broadoaks, Fallingdale, Sentinel, Sentinel Grandravine and within Northwood Park.. Storm sewer upgrades are continuing on Hucknall between Sentinel and Broadoaks and are scheduled to be completed in Spring 2014. In order to complete the installation on Hucknall , lane reductions are required and temporary road closures should be expected. Watermain replacement on Grandravine has been constructed and the water service connections will be completed early in 2014. Road widening at the intersection of Grandravine and Keele remains to be done and has been schedule sch for Summer 2014. Road restoration has started on Broadoaks, Roskell, Ikley and Fallingdale. Permanent restoration will be completed once temperatures warm in the Spring 2014.. Short term road closures will be required at that time. Temporary restoration has been completed at Grandravine ne Drive and Sentinel Road. The new storm sewer structure at the intersection of Grandravine Drive and Sentinel Road required the prolonged closure of this intersection. This work has now been completed. The intersection has been temporarily reinstated, reinstated however due to weather constraints, the road will not be resurfaced with asphalt until Spring S 2014. To complete the permanent restoration of the road surface at the intersection of Grandravine and Sentinel the road will be closed for up to two wee weeks in Spring 2014. Efforts are being made to minimize the duration of the spring closure however a closure is required in order to ensure the long term quality of the road. Signage will be posted providing you with advance notice of the spring closure.

Emergency access (police, fire and medical response) will be maintained at all times. Recycling and garbage collection will not be affected. Please follow your normal routine. Alternative locations for garbage collection will be communicated to residents by on site personal, if required. Access to driveways will be restricted at the road closure locations. Residents will be advised of alternative parkingg areas by on site personnel, if required. On-street parking will be restricted during the daytime. Affected residents may park on adjacent streets. Residents are advised not to park where on on-street parking is prohibited. There ere will be no consideration for offences such as No Stopping, No Standing, Stopping on Sidewalks or Boulevards, by Fire Hydrants, Fire Route, Rush Hour Route and parking wi within 9 metres of intersection. Winter Maintenance of the temporarily restored roads at Grandravine and Sentinel and within the active construction area will be undertaken by the contractor, if you have questions or concerns regarding winter maintenance please contact the project hotline noted below.
