Conowingo and the Susquehanna River In the early 20th century, utilities built hydroelectric plants along the lower Susquehanna River. The largest, the Conowingo Dam, was second in size only to the Niagara Falls when it opened in 1928. Creation vs Evolution Course will examine key points about the raging debate between Creationism and the theory of Evolution. Is life just chance, something that just happened by accident or is there a purpose to life created by the God of the universe? Does there seem to be some kind of a master plan set in motion by this great Higher Power? Do our origins matter? Did we evolve millions and millions of years ago after the so called,“Big Bang,” when an electrical spark struck a chemical “soup” to form cells, organisms, and primates? Why is there so much blood and death in the world? What is meant by “survival of the fittest”? Plus, are there any examples of this being played out in history?
