STRENGTHENING THE RESOURCES INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM A productive and globally competitive Australian resources industry requires a dynamic and sustainable innovation ecosystem. Industry needs to accelerate the adoption of new technologies to increase efficiencies and global competitiveness. The resources sector continues to offer exciting opportunities to innovators in Australia, in particular in delivering both software and hardware solutions that improve performance and reduce costs relating to exploration, operations and maintenance, as well as safety outcomes; be it through data analytics, Internet of Everything (IoE) applications, or other transformative technologies and processes. CORE provides a timely response to these exciting opportunities, with a physical space, support environment and networks to stimulate the density of activity, talent, technical skill, knowledge and entrepreneurship that will develop solutions to real-world industry problems and foster new enterprises.
