The Guiding website has some great ideas on how to get the girls to participate and make their own decisions. The judging panel will be made up of a variety of members of the wider Girlguiding community. To help the judges, each unit must create a report showing all aspects of each challenge, highlighting ways in which they fit with the scoring criteria. All reports must be submitted via the County Dropbox ( https://tinyurl.com/ggcwchallenge ) by 5pm on 30th April 2018. The judges decision is, of course, final. Report for the three challenges The report should be clear and brief. It must not exceed 500 words and 6 photographs. Please remember to add your unit’s name and leader's contact details somewhere in the report. Please note that the photos you submit will need relevant photographic permissions, prior to submitting, so they may be used for future County publicity. Scoring criteria The scoring criteria will give special attention to: ● clear evidence that ideas and activities were girl led ● clear evidence that girls were involved in all stages of the challenage ● innovative ideas ● creative presentation of the report ● keeping within 500 words and 6 photographs ● publicity recevied for their initiatives Challenge badge There will be an opportunity for each unit to purchase badges for every person who has taken part. These will be priced at £1 – any profit will go into County funds for future events. Expression of interest Units should register their interest in taking part by the end of December and the expected numbers of badges they will be purchasing by emailing [email protected] stating your name, unit name, number of badges you require.
