In line with this approach, we have redesigned and enhanced our OPITO Tropical Further Offshore Emergency Training (TFOET) and Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET) courses. These are now the only OPITO TFOET / FOET courses worldwide to offer 90% hands on 'practical' delivery with only 10% class room time.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
CERTIFICATION
Current certification in OPITO TBOSIET, TFOET, BOSIET or On successful completion trainees will be issued with: FOET. - a Record of Achievement in OPITO Further Offshore A current Medical Clearance completed by a medical Emergency Training (FOET), and a personalised FOET practitioner. STRUCTURE & ASSESSMENT 90% of this course is delivered through practical trainee participation, activities and discussion in a simulated workplace environment. The remaining 10% is delivered as theory in a classroom. Trainees will demonstrate / explain / identify their level of knowledge, skills and understanding through oral and/or written assessment and practical activities.
The OPITO FOET is valid for 4 years from the date of training.
