I voluntarily agree to participate and I realize that every precaution is taken to eliminate any injury or hazards to myself and that a competent supervisor is present; however, in the event of any injury to myself, I hereby waive, release and hold harmless from any liability for damages or claims for damages for personal injury, including accidental death, as well as from claims for personal property damage which may arise in connection with the program, against the City of Laguna Niguel and all it’s officers, agents and employees. I permit the use of activity/event photography and/or video of myself for media promotion.

LN PARKS & RECREATION FALL BOUTIQUE & CRAFTS FAIRE RULES AND REGULATIONS Please make sure you read the information below. I. ELIGIBILITY: 1. Applications will be accepted between June 1 – August 1. Note: Applicant will not be registered immediately (see application process below). If you mail or drop-off the application prior to June 1, your application will be placed in the order after we receive the mail. 2. All items sold must be handcrafted by applicant. Manufactured items embellished by hand are acceptable. 3. Only the vendor (original crafter) and members of their family may sell items. 4. Representatives from corporate companies/ services are not allowed to participate. This includes Creative Memories, Cookie Lee, etc. 5. The sale of food items is not permitted, including homemade candy/pre-packaged foods. II. APPLICATION PROCESS: 1. You must submit the following for your application to be reviewed: a completed application, check made out to the City of Laguna Niguel and submit a photo of each item to be sold. Photos WILL NOT be returned. Digital picture copies are acceptable as long as they are high resolution. Checks will be returned if your application is not accepted. 2. On the application, indicate if you prefer an outdoor space. All spaces will be assigned. Please list any special requests on your application. If you have any questions about space locations, call Parks and Recreation at (949) 425-5100, or stop by the Parks and Recreation Registration Office during business hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (May 1- June 11, August 7 – September 1) or Monday – Friday, 7:30am-6:00pm (June 12 – August 4). In order to view the Sea Country Center, please call 425-5100 to schedule an appointment. 3. All spaces are 8' x 8'. Vendors may not reserve more than two spaces. It is not permitted for 2 separate vendors to combine spaces to sell similar merchandise. 4. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN AUGUST 1, AT 5:00PM. All applications accepted after August 1 will be considered, based on availability. 5. After the application period closes, Parks and Recreation staff will evaluate all of the applications and select applicants who will best suit the Faire. 6. Parks and Recreation reserves the right to refuse any application that we do not see appropriate for the Faire. 7. Parks and Recreation may limit the number of certain types of merchandise to allow for a

variety to the public (i.e. jewelry, baby items, etc.). 8. Some spaces may have obstructions. All spaces with obstructions will be disclosed to the vendor, (to the best of our knowledge) prior to space assignment. 9. Residents may be given priority, if merchandise is equal to or better quality.

III. DISPLAY SPACE/SET-UP: 1. Check-in and set-up begins at 8:00am on event day. Check-in at the Sea Country front desk. All vendors need to be completely set-up by 9:30am. 2. Vendors must stay for the entire Faire, from 10am-3pm. 3. Vendors may unload items in front of the Community Center and in the parking lot. After unloading your merchandise, vendors must move cars to Yosemite street to allow parking front of the Community Center. Please move your car immediately after unloading, not when you’re done with set up. 4. Vendors are responsible for their own set-up and breakdown. Breakdown must be quick, and done by 4pm so please make arrangements for assistance, if necessary. 5. Do not block doorways or aisles at any time with equipment and materials. This includes during set up time. 6. All display items must be contained within approved space. (8' x 8') ONLY. Absolutely NO 10' x 10' canopies or other coverings larger than the assigned space are allowed. If sidewalls or shelves are used, please make sure they are secure and under 5’ tall. Please be considerate of your neighbor and do not block their display. Note: The outdoor spaces may be in direct sunlight at times. Please make appropriate arrangements for shelters that fit within the guidelines. Rental price: 10x10 canopy (where authorized) = $15 each 7. Tables and chairs will not be provided unless otherwise requested and approved prior to the Faire. Many storage doors are blocked by vendors and we cannot access them during the event. Rental price: chair $5 each / 6ft. table = $10 each 8. Weather is unpredictable…please prepare for weather elements including rain, wind, sun and heat. Refunds will be given to outside vendors in the event of heavy rain or severe weather. 9. Lighting: The Grand Ballroom has somewhat dim lighting. Please make arrangements for selfcontained lighting and/ or arrange for a spot with electricity, if necessary. 10. Limited Electricity will be provided, as noted on the facility map. Outlets are indicated to the best of our knowledge and cannot be guaranteed to be working on event day. Please have back-up arrangements.

IV. GENERAL INFORMATION: 1. The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to remove any person(s) not complying with rules and regulations. No refunds. 2. Vendors are required to wear provided nametags for identification. 3. Cancellations: No refunds will be given after Friday, September 22. Refunds will not be given for no-shows. In the event of heavy rain or extreme weather, outside vendor spaces may be canceled and full refunds will be given. 4. No animals are allowed on the premises, except for credentialed service animals. 5. The City of Laguna Niguel is not responsible for lost or stolen items. 6. Lunch/snacks/beverages will be available for purchase in the Grand Ballroom kitchen. (Subject to change.) 7. Vendors may not distribute coupons/promos/giveaways outside of their designated booth.

V. Sea Country Senior & Community Center Viewing Hours: If you would like to see Sea Country Center, limited viewing is available. If you have specific questions, or would like to schedule a tour of the facility, please call Parks and Recreation at (949) 425-5100 and the Crafts Faire organizers will assist you. For more information about eligibility, rules/regulations, space location or facility viewing, please call LN Parks and Recreation at (949) 425-5100.
