Creating A Route Card Creating a Route Card Creating a Route Card is simple and efficient by using the Mapyx Expedition Card Plug-in. SELECT the Top Menu, Plugins and SELECT Mapyx Expedition Card. The Mapyx Expedition Card window opens:

The first stage is to fill in the yellow fields and click SAVE which permits you to SAVE the data and re-use it again. This saves time on retyping it in each time. You can reload this at any time. Make sure that you have the Route selected in Explorer for which you wish to create a Route Card.

Next SELECT

. Now reduce the Route Card window so that it does not interfere with the maps screen. Hover over any Waypoint where you wish to create a Checkpoint and right click and SELECT Edit Point Data. A new window appears:

SELECT the Toggle type to change the point from a Route Point to a Checkpoint and add any relevant data, such as above. Complete the data to suit and ensure that the Toggle Type is selected to change the Waypoint to a Checkpoint. Once complete, Click OK and the information is added to the Map. Repeat this as many times as required over each required Checkpoint.

Open the Mapyx Expedition Card and SELECT the Expedition Level, Day and Speed. Note that the button Refresh ExpCard is in red/pink since data has been amended.

SELECT If the Route fails to meet the minimum requirements, a warning will be visible, such as:

SELECT Ok and a Route Card will be created:

SAVE the Mapyx Expedition Card, so that it can be used again.
