Crossroads FINISHED QUILT SIZE 52" x 64" Finished Block Size 12" x 12" Measurements include ¼" seam allowance. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated. Please check our website www.rileyblakedesigns.com for any revisions before starting this project. This pattern requires a basic knowledge of quilting technique and terminology. The quilt and block diagrams portrayed are virtual images. The layout and look of your project may differ when using actual fabric. FABRIC REQUIREMENTS 1 Wheels 2 10-Inch Stacker (10-5040-12) 1¼ yards (1.15 m) blue main (C5040 Blue) 1 yard (95 cm) blue dots (C5044 Blue) ¾ yard (70 cm) pina colada solid (C100-03 Pina Colada) Binding 5/8 yard (60 cm) Backing 31/3 yards (3.05 m) CUTTING REQUIREMENTS Please read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

Crossroads Block Sew a blue dots 1½" strip to each side of a pina colada solid 1½" strip to create a blue/white/blue strip set. Cut the strip set into 1½" segments to make 24 blue/white/ blue segments. Sew a pina colada solid 1½" strip to each side of a blue dots 1½" strip to create a white/blue/white strip set. Cut the strip set into 1½" segments to make 12 white/blue/ white segments. Sew 2 blue/white/blue segments and 1 white/blue/white segment together to create a Nine-Patch Unit. Repeat to create 12 Nine-Patch Units.

Nine-Patch Unit Sew a pina colada solid 1½" strip to each side of a blue dots 1½" strip to create a white/blue/white strip set. Repeat to make 6 white/blue/white strips sets. Cut the strip sets into 5" segments to make 48 white/blue/white segments (8 from each strip set) labeled as Unit A.

10-Inch Stacker Cut each assorted print 10" square into 4 squares 5" x 5". Unit A

Blue Main Cut 6 strips 6½" x WOF for Border 2.

Sew 4 assorted print 5" squares, 4 Unit As, and a NinePatch Unit together to create the Crossroads Block. Repeat to make 12 Crossroad Blocks.

Blue Dots Cut 9 strips 1½" x WOF. Cut 5 strips 2½" x WOF for Border 1. Pina Colada Solid Cut 15 strips 1½" x WOF. QUILT ASSEMBLY Refer to quilt photo for placement of fabrics as each block is a different combination of fabrics.

Crossroads Block

Crossroads Quilt Center Assembly Refer to the Quilt Center Diagram for block placement. Lay out the Crossroads Blocks in 4 rows of 3 blocks. Sew the rows together to complete the center of the quilt. Borders Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew side borders first. Border 1 Side borders should be 48½”. Top and bottom borders should be 40½”. Border 2 Side borders should be 52½”. Top and bottom borders should be 52½”. Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the Wheels 2 Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
