YMCA Day Camps offer children and youth the opportunity to participate in fun and engaging activities. Camps are created to spark imagination, build confidence, independence and communication skills. Additionally camps will integrate YMCA core values of Honesty, Caring, Respect, Responsibility, Health and inclusiveness.

Level 1: (3 weeks) Located at Ecole des Grands-Vents, Level 1 includes 3 weeks of direct instructional time and practical on site experience assisting counsellors in daily camp activities in the Day Camp for ages 5-7 year olds. Skills development will include: qualities of a strong leader, program planning, and interpersonal communication. Daily journals will be kept to document learning.

Our Programs Day Camp Ages 5 to 7 8:00 - 5:00 pm June 29 - August 28 Day Camp located at Ecole des Grands-Vents. The emphasis is on outdoor play and physical activity; outdoor adventures; art activities and daily excursions to nearby parks and playgrounds. Children will enjoy daily swimming at the YMCA and use of the gymnasium in inclement weather. Children bring their own nutritious snacks and lunch. Cost: $195.00/week per child Bilingual Day Camp Ages 5 to 8 8:00 am - 5:00 pm June 29 - September 4 French Day Camp located at Ecole des Grands-Vents. The emphasis is on outdoor play and swimming. Children will learn basic French while participating in fun games and activities. Children bring their own nutritious snacks and lunch. Cost: $225.00/week per child Outdoor Day Camp Ages 8 to 12 8:00 am - 5:00 pm June 29 - September 4 The bus will stop at the YMCA to pick up children who will be travelling to Foxtrap. Camp Morristown in Foxtrap is a fantastic outdoor day camp property nestled on a pond in the heart of the woods but still close to town. Campers will experience an outdoor camping adventure at this rustic location with plenty of fresh air. There will be a variety of activities that will be offered throughout the summer; canoeing, hiking, orienteering, knot tying, swimming, soccer, building a shelter, pitching a tent, arts and crafts, archery and much more. Cost: $195.00/week per child

Cost: $395 per child Session 1 - June 29 - July 17 Session 2 - July 20 - Aug 7 Session 3 - Aug 10 - Aug 28 Level 2: (4 weeks) Located in Foxtrap. Building upon the skills learned in Level 1, Level 2 applies that knowledge with a more hands on approach. Level 2 is an intensive four week program with a higher level of involvement. Each week the youth leaders will be expected to design, lead and report on planned activities at the Day Camp for ages 8-12 and keep a journal to document their learning. Training sessions will help leaders identify and develop their own skills. Canoeing, map and compass, campfire safety and outdoor skills will also be covered. Cost: $425 per child Session 1 - July 6 - July 31 Session 2 - Aug 3 - Aug 28 Level 3: (4 weeks) Located at Foxtrap. Building upon the skills learned in Level 1 and 2, Level 3 provides opportunity to experience more intensive leadership practice. Youth leaders in Level 3 will identify their own personal leadership styles and develop techniques to identify the learning styles of others. Combining this knowledge the leaders will experience sessions on bullying, risk management, integrating special needs into their planning, and "thinking outside the box" while planning and leading group activities. First Aid CPR courses for certification will be offered. Daily journals will be kept to document learning. Cost: $475 per child Session 1 - July 6 - July 31 Session 2 - Aug 3 - Aug 28
