9th July 2018 Dear Ladies Firstly, as you will all have heard, Allen King passed away and I know you all join me in sending Dottie a very warm collective hug. Our past Captain & Bubbles Queen, Denise, leaves at the end of this month to join Cod in the UK, so please join us for a “bubbles & cheese nibble” after golf on Tuesday 24th to say good-bye. If you’re not playing and will be popping in, please message me (0824166356) so that we don’t have to run around at the last minute getting more chairs & tables! We are delighted that our Trivial Pursuit function on Thursday is fully booked, and hopefully this will become a regular monthly event during winter. If you’re looking for something to do this Sunday (15th) there’s a Sunday Mixed at Durbanville (R290) – phone 021 976 8120. Don’t forget the Annual Club Awards evening on Friday 27th July. And for those of you who haven’t tried the Friday Par 3 competitions at our club, do yourself a favour – it’s great fun!
