COOPERSURGICAL ACQUIRES K-SYSTEMS KIVEX BIOTEC A/S TRUMBULL, Conn., May 4, 2016 – CooperSurgical, a leading provider of women’s health care solutions has acquired K-Systems Kivex Biotec A/S, a market leader in developing, manufacturing and distribution of innovative and expertly designed equipment to IVF Clinics. The acquisition provides CooperSurgical with all commercial rights to KSystems product portfolio, sales pipeline, facilities, and technological development processes. K-Systems, which is based in Denmark, entered the IVF market 30 years ago, and is one of the pioneers of equipment designed for human IVF. K-Systems will be integrated into CooperSurgical’s world leading ART company ORIGIO. “K-Systems is a good fit with our ORIGIO equipment offering,” said Paul Remmell, President and CEO of CooperSurgical. “We get a number of high-quality products that complement ORIGIO’s existing product portfolio.
