Des Moines Airport Authority Holds Meeting on New Airport Project Public is invited to attend and provide feedback on upcoming airport improvements Des Moines, Iowa (Mar. 22, 2018) – As planning and preparations for its new airport progress, the Des Moines Airport Authority is inviting public to attend an airport improvement project meeting on March 28, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at the airport’s second floor Cloud Room. The main goal of this public meeting will be to communicate emerging details on plans for the new airport improvements, including progress, funding, design and timeline. The meeting will also provide an opportunity for the public to share feedback on the airport improvements and to ask questions. Representatives from the Des Moines Airport Authority and aviation planning and design consultants from HNTB Corporation will present on the continued need for the new facility and current designs under study that will foster a positive passenger experience at the airport for years to come. HNTB Corporation was retained by the Airport Authority to conduct the terminal programming and design phases of the airport project.
