Development Innovations project SCOPE OF WORK

Two M&E Assistants (Full time & part-time) Phnom Penh, Cambodia Part time

Background DAI is an employee-owned global development company that has worked with thousands of local businesses and civil society organizations (CSOs) in Cambodia over the past 30 years. DAI’s newest Cambodia project, the three (3) year Development Innovations project will work with civil society and technology entrepreneurs to catalyze social innovation through new media technologies and a groundbreaking innovation lab–a space where social and technology professionals will design programs and tools to support CSOs and advance social issues; to attract investors to fund innovative new products; and to mentor civil society and technology professionals. Purpose: The M&E Assistant will assist the M&E Specialist in designing the Development Innovations M&E system and senior project managers of project status and progress toward achievement of key results as agreed in the annual work plans. Responsibilities:

The Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant will be responsible as following: 

To work with all responsible departments to ensure that all data in registration forms of training and events and questionnaires are completed with high quality and valid information.



To enter data into all relevant M&E database system, particularly TAMIS.



To review data in the M&E database to make sure that it is accurate and makes sense.



To Follow up with relevant people where items do not appear in TAMIS, resolve questions, inconsistency, and missing data, assist to correct, and confirm accuracy.



To maintain all registration form and questionnaire and relevant M&E data safe and secure, including hard copies of any surveys collected by the team, deliverables, participant lists for events, etc.



Assist M&E Specialist in developing questionnaires for surveys when needed.



Assist M&E Specialist to conduct M&E survey and publish results, if necessary.



Ensure relevant reports and information on project website is updated.



Other duties as assigned by the M&E staff

Qualifications Summary 

University students in social science, information technology or related areas.

 

At least 1 year experience in doing quantitative data collection or some experience in related field. Good computer skills including MS-Office applications and experience in the use of database management software and knowledge of Lotus Notes;

    

Good communication skills. Proven ability to meet deadlines and to work effectively in stressful situations; Demonstrated capacity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team; Good teamwork skills and including interpersonal. Good Knowledge English speaking and writing.
