HEC Liege School of Management of the University of Liege HEC® Management School - University of Liège (HEC Liège) is the management school of the University of Liège. DIGITAL PROJECT MANAGER Digitalization is expected to bring about drastic disruptions across all aspects of society, impacting both businesses and individual alike. In line with this revolution, HEC-Liège, School of Management of the University of Liege, has put “Digital” at the forefront of its strategy. Digitalization is manifested in various ways, namely : • The development and creation of unique, state-of-the-art and advanced programs and courses on the application of digital technologies in marketing, finance, supply chain management, and in Big Data and analytics • The use of digital technologies in teaching (e.g. MOOCs) • The use of digital technologies to support administrative functions HEC-Liege, School of Management of the University of Liege, is currently seeking a talented Digital Project Manager to lead and expand its digital strategy.

Responsibilities You will work closely with the different professors, existing business partners on developing partnerships and new initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying and developing areas of growth for HEC-Liège, value for its partners, and benefits for the students. This position will leverage your strong understanding of digital technologies and applications, e.g. in marketing, finance, supply chain management, Big Data and analytics, and high-tech industries to structure forward-thinking partnerships. Specific responsibilities include the following : • •

Coordination of digital projects within the school Technological awakening: identify trendsetting ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments Generate and foster new connections, develop potential projects inside the school in connections with partners and other departments of the University of Liege, examining risks and potentials, and estimating needs and goals Participation in the fundraising of digital projects Promote programs related to digital and developments to partners, students, and stakeholders, through a variety of activities: programs, events, conferences, presentations, resource mobilization or field work Possibility of participation in courses in digital business

Skills and Qualifications The skills you need to excel in this position include : • • • • • •

Computer literacy, competency with Internet technologies In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events Professional fluency in English, additional skills in Dutch and French Excellent time management and organization skills Strong interpersonal skills, and excellent oral and written skills to communicate with a large team of academic colleagues and senior management in the industry Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment

This is not an entry-level position. You must be the holder of a Master degree with experience.

Salary and benefits This is a full-time position. Immediate entry for a period of one year (renewable)
