Discipline means; I can control my body and mind (so I can do what’s right and kind)! Read about our friends below. Should they stop what they are doing? Keep going? If our friends are showing discipline, draw a line to the “go, go, go” picture in the middle. If our friends are not showing discipline draw a line to the picture that shows a “stop” sign.

Layla wants to be a scientist when she grows up. She pays attention in school. She does all her homework before she plays.

Eve and Emma are working hard. They are practicing for a big race. Their friends ask them to go to a party instead. They do not go. They stay at practice even though the party sounds like fun.

Matt got angry at his brother, Tom. Matt ran after Tom and tried to hit him.

Meg does not want to do her chores. She wants to play. She sits and pouts. She does not do her chores today.

Johnny’s sister, Maddie, is playing with a toy. Johnny grabs the toy out of her hands. Maddie yells and stomps her feet. He does not give it back.

Ty’s mother told him he could play outside. He had to stay in front of his home so his she could see him. His friend asked him to come to the park with him instead. He did not go. He stayed in front of his home.
