When it comes to Christianity, there are some topics that are difficult to grasp, even when explained—like the Holy Spirit. But even when we don’t fully understand the Holy Spirit, we can be confident, as Christ-followers, that he’s moving in our lives to guide, protect, and empower us.
Discussion Questions 1. What’s an example of a time that you felt the Holy Spirit prompting you to do something? Did you listen to it? What was the outcome? 2. Read 1 Corinthians 3:16. In light of this verse, are there things you would change in your life knowing that the Holy Spirit lives IN you? How does having the Holy Spirit live within you encourage you when facing the daily battles in life? 3. Where do you sense the Holy Spirit tugging at you lately? Is there a phone call to make, an email to send, a sin to resist, a prayer to pray, or a decision to address? What’s holding you back? 4. How has God wired you in terms of your passions, experiences, and spiritual gifts? How are you living out God’s calling on your life?
