Recently, Jim was a spokesperson for the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. JUDITH ROBERTSON

Board Director Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario As Commissioner for the OSC from 2011 to 2017 Ms. Robertson served as regulator, board member and adjudicator and was Chair of the HR and Compensation Committee. Previous senior positions in the international financial services industry include: President and CEO of Belzberg Technologies Inc., Executive Vice President with Perimeter Financial Corp., CEO of Markets Inc., and Managing Director with Barclays Global Investors (Blackrock). Ms. Robertson has the ICD.D and CFA designations and is an Ivey MBA and University of Toronto graduate. Catherine is currently Senior Manager at Ernst & Young. There’s been a common theme across her career and personal experiences; building resilience. In a professional setting, this resilience has been demonstrated in the request for her contributions or leadership on projects where change and pragmatic decisions are required. In extra-curricular activities; this has resulted in ongoing mentoring and coaching on a vast spectrum of topics from academic and career guidance, to having difficult conversations, to empowering young women to develop a sense of worth. JANE SHACKELL QC Partner Miller Thomson LLP

Jane Shackell QC is a Partner in the Vancouver office of Miller Thomson LLP. She has practiced since 1985, advising senior executive teams and corporate boards on mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, partnerships, governance, and other business matters. She is one of BC’s foremost Fairness Advisors, having served the Project Boards for many of our largest infrastructure projects. She has been Chair of the Board of Capilano University, a member of the BC and Canadian Human Rights Tribunals, and served as Vice-Chair and as member of numerous volunteer boards of directors. JENNIFER SONDERGAARD President J Delta Management Solutions

Jennifer Sondergaard is currently President of J Delta Management Solutions, and a Director with the Canada Science and Technology Museums Foundation and the Ottawa Community Loan Fund. During the previous decade, Jennifer was the Executive responsible for Bank of America’s Global Consumer Banking Change Management teams and the Card Technology segment of the Merrill Lynch acquisition. Before joining the bank, she held progressively more senior positions at various Canadian financial institutions and credit card companies.

Managing Partner La Tourelle Capital Ying is currently a Managing Partner at La Tourelle Capital where she works on origination, due diligence, and portfolio management efforts. Previously, Ying worked on direct and fund investments at Teachers’ Private Capital. She worked previously at AIG, where she was a member of the founding team of AIG Energy, a principal investing and commodity trading platform. Ying started her career at J.P. Morgan with their energy investment banking team in New York. Ying holds a MBA from Harvard Business School. She also holds a BA in Computer science and Economics from Wellesley College. SUSAN URSEL

Senior Partner Ursel Phillips Fellows Hopkinson LLP Susan Ursel has practiced in the fields of labour, human rights and pension law since 1986. In 2016, Ms Ursel was named to the Independent Advisory Board for Supreme Court of Canada Justices, tasked with recommending candidates who reflect a diversity of backgrounds and experiences for appointment to the Supreme Court of Canada. She is currently a member of the Compute Ontario Board. She is a past founding and executive member of Pro Bono Ontario. Director of Sustainability and Regulatory Affairs Lundin Mining Linda is a Senior Social, Environmental & Permitting Leader with over 20 years of proven global experience in the development and implementation of technically-effective, innovative and pragmatic, community-based and environmentally sustainable solutions. Starting her career as a mineral exploration geologist, Linda is a Professional Geoscientist with extensive international experience in corporate sustainability, community relations, public affairs, due diligence, and regulatory affairs governance. Dr. Judy Zaichkowsky is a University Professor and Professor of Marketing in the Beedie School of Business Administration, Simon Fraser University. She received her Ph.D. from UCLA in marketing, with minors in psychology and statistics. She holds a Masters degree in Consumer Studies from the University of Guelph and was named one of their most notable Alumni. Her research has been recognized as some of the most influential articles in the field. Her five years on the Board of Governors opened her up many tough decisions and people skills.

Adjunct Law Professor; Consultant; Board Member York University - Osgoode Hall Law School | City of Toronto After private practice, Marcie joined Hydro One, specializing in land use, Aboriginal relations, and siting, while working as an instructor for the Law Society. Marcie then became VP, Legal and Regulatory with Brookfield, providing strategic direction for the Utility Platform. She was also part of the senior executive team of Great Lakes Power Transmission. Marcie is a former Director and Treasurer of OEA, former Director of APPrO, Past President of Universal Youth Foundation, on the City of Toronto Real Estate Advisory Committee. She currently works as a consultant and Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School.
